Jin Jiji Indian Dry Gin is made using wild juniper, harvested directly from the Himalayas, blending seamlessly with strictly Indian botanicals, such as Tulsi leaves, with Ayurvedic properties. Other botanicals include wild chamomile flower, coriander, cashew and angelica root;
Hand-picked Himalayan juniper forms the basis of Jin Jiji's botanical profile. The distillers first discovered it at the Delhi spice market and, not being sure, took it to the British Gin Guild, which confirmed that it was indeed juniper, albeit of a unique nature: "it has an earthier, 'funkier' flavour profile than the classic varieties".
Jin JiJi was also the first gin to use tulsi, a local variety of basil that is an integral part of Ayurvedic medicine, and is also known in Italy as holy basil. "This plant is often considered the earthly manifestation of the goddess Tulsi, and can be found in most domestic gardens in India, occupying a special place in the hearts of many.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
