Muyu Chinotto Nero is an extremely interesting liqueur with a blend of cinchona, oak moss, curacao orange and cocoa.
One of its distinguishing features the addition of acidity often absent in citrus liqueurs.
For the creation of Muyu products, each liquid begins with the extraction of a single note, the namesake ingredient of each liquor. The secondary sequence of ingredients is then wrapped around each note to create a fully developed and complex liquid.
Various techniques-including enfleurage, steam distillation, C02 and resinoid extraction-are used to extract the chosen flavors. These are then mixed with alcohol, sugar, acids and water to create the final liquid.
Muyu Chinotto Nero born in 2019, when three internationally renowned bartenders-Alex Kratena, Monica Berg, and Simone Caporale-launched this range of three modern liqueurs made with natural ingredients. A mix of different styles that are inspired by a high-class perfume with each one's personal view on cocktail philosophy, Muyu aims to bring extraordinary ingredients to contemporary bartenders. Inspired by a trip to the Amazon, Muyu actively promotes biodiversity through responsible sourcing: a portion of the profits from each bottle will also go to charity for the indigenous people of the region.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
