The Real McCoy Prohibition Tradition 12 YO (50° 100 full proof) is produced in limited edition by the Foursquare Distillery in Barbados, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Bill McCoy's legendary "Rum Running", which became famous during Prohibition in the 1920s.
It is a single blended rum whose 12-year ageing takes place strictly in a tropical climate. It is Richard Seale himself who composes the liquid blend, after the right amount of time maturing in ex-bourbon and virgin white oak casks.
