Kentucky Owl Batch 8 is a blend of four different distillates of 5, 8, 11 and 14 years.
The 5-year-old Bourbon is distilled directly by the Master Blender and owner of the distillery, Dixon Dedman, and despite its young age, it gives notes of caramel, malt, being very round on the palate.
Batch 8 is bottled at 121 proof (60.5%), and only 9,051 bottles were produced.
Tasting Notes: aromas of cinnamon, apple, muscat, sweet vanilla, caramel and red pepper. On the palate it is strong, rich and syrupy with a long aftertaste.
