Kentucky Owl: Kentucky Straight Bourbon from Batch #12

This expression of Kentucky Owl Bourbon from Batch #12 offers aromas of sweet spices, caramel and butterscotch, to which notes of passion fruit and spicy citrus are added on the palate.

Each batch of Kentucky Owl is made from some of Kentucky's finest bourbons and bottled at 117.8 Proof to maximise flavour. Each new batch is different and original, and is carefully crafted by Master Blender John Rhea.

Batch #12 was produced by blending some 7 to 14 year old bourbons together with two 4 year old types.

Aromatic profile: notes of sweet spices and caramel, with a hint of butterscotch, with a long bouquet of pleasant aromas. A pleasant rush of warm spices crosses the palate along with a robust caramel and cream sensation fills all taste buds; it blends pleasantly with notes of passion fruit and spicy citrus. The finish is long and pleasant, while the caramel and cream linger as an unexpected invitation.
