The new Elements of Islay range replaces the previous one - namely Elements of Islay Peat Pure and Peat - and consists of three expressions: Cask Edit, Bourbon Cask and Sherry Cask.
The Sherry Cask version was aged in American oak refill hogshead casks and then matured in 100% ex-Sherry first-fill casks and hogsheads. It is then bottled at a higher strength to emphasise the whisky's natural personality. Notes of bitter chocolate, orange, candied ginger, black tea and smoke.
