Tomatin Legacy is a tribute to the great social role that the distillery has always played since its founding in 1897. There was no local workforce at the time, as the distillery is located in a very isolated location in the Northern Highlands, and Tomatin then built a small village to house the workers.
Legacy, which means “inheritance”, celebrates the birth of this community, similar to a large family. It is an aged single malt in a combination of ex bourbon barrels and virgin casks, with a truly stunning quality / price ratio.
