Tomatin 30 Years Old is a single malt from the Highlands matured for three decades in a combination of ex-Bourbon and traditional oak casks, bottled at 46% ABV with natural colour and no chill filtration.
The nose reveals elegant and refined notes: Manuka honey, soft vanilla, tropical fruit and white chocolate, followed by hints of fudge, caramel, white peach and candied citrus fruit.
The palate is velvety and complex: ripe tropical fruit and juicy peach open the mouthfeel, followed by delicate spices, creamy vanilla and notes of biscuits, milk chocolate and a slight spicy touch that adds depth and character. The long, harmonious finish closes with honey, hints of beeswax, orange peel and a sprinkling of cocoa, leaving an elegant and complex trail.
Tomatin 30 Years Old is designed for connoisseurs and collectors: a whisky of great balance, refinement and depth, perfect for enjoying neat or with a small cigar after an important dinner.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
