Behind the Collective Artist series, which involves contemporary artists for the illustrations of the labels, there is the famous Parisian distributor La Maison du Whisky, an institution in the world of spirits. The Collective selections, born in 2017 and now in their fourth batch, involve small batches of barrels from Scottish distilleries with a single common denominator: the very high quality of the whiskies which must be similar to small works of art.

Ardmore is a Speyside distillery highly sought after by blenders for its strong and malty character, an ideal shoulder to give body to blended whiskies. In this particular version Ardmore also gains smoky, medicinal and marine notes because it is aged for 9 years in 7 barrels that had previously contained Laphroaig whisky.

Just 2294 bottles were produced, with a reduced alcohol content of 43%.
