Benromach 15 Y.O. Scotch Whisky is a 2015 release from this small Speyside distillery. Considered one of its premium products, this Single Malt has been aged in ex-bourbon and ex-Sherry casks for at least 15 years. The result is reminiscent of the original Speyside character.
The Single Malt Benromach 15 Y.O., with its smoothness, presents on the nose hints of Sherry, vanilla, ginger, orange, mingling with balsamic and chamomile nuances. The palate is enveloping and smooth, rich with notes of oak, tangerine, plum and milk chocolate. This Scotch Whisky can be enjoyed neat, or with the addition of water, which enhances the sweet, fruity notes.
