Campbeltown Journey Blended Malt is a Scotch Whisky that takes us on a journey to the Campbeltown region, one of the most sought-after areas by Master Blenders of the last century for its light and fragrant malts. It is made from a blend of whiskies from the only three remaining distilleries in the region, mostly Glen Scotia, then Springbank and Glengyle. Aged in ex-bourbon barrels, it is bottled at natural color without cold filtration.
The nose is fresh and fruity, with hints of vanilla, orange and honeysuckle. The palate is clean and sweet, with notes of lemon meringue and honey. The Journey series of blended whiskies was created by Hunter Laing, the group of expert selectors active since the 1950s and owners of the new Ardnahoe distillery. The goal is to offer a journey through Scotland and its finest distilleries.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
