Compass Box Ultramarine: inspired by the blend of the 1980s
Ultramarine is a limited edition that aims to enhance the flavors created by aged Malt whiskey and grain blends.
It is inspired by an iconic luxury Blended Scotch, particularly the early bottlings of the late 1980s and 1990s. Making use of old-school ex-Sherry barrels.
Tasting notes: Toffee, old, polished oak and complex peat are the aromas, with a palate of pecans, raisins and smoke.
Limited edition of 5,430 bottles.
