Glenkinchie 27 Y.O. The Floral Treasure is part of the Special Release 2023 Diageo.
A whisky single malt aged in American and European oak barrels, extremely fine and delicate, inspired by the fine porcelain of China's leading royal families.
The distillery's longest-lived expression that ages for a full 27 years has a lusty porphyry of extreme refinement.
Floral and green, fruit and spice notes open to a round, fresh palate that evolves into a dry taste dictated by oak notes. Of medium length, it is firm on the finish and spicy.
This Single Malt is the most aged Glenkinchie ever bottled: truly an exceptional release, with luxurious floral notes and an aroma reminiscent of spring mornings. On the nose there are soft and at the same time decisive hints, in which the floral nuances gradually reveal a citric note of fresh orange juice, apple juice, almonds and vanilla. The palate is round and fresh on first taste, gradually revealing a strong citric and acidic impact that finally becomes more fruity and noble, turning into drier notes reminiscent of oak. The finish is of medium length and strong character, dry and spicy.

Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
