Armagnac Veuve Goudoulin 2000 Version Française was selected by La Maison du Whisky for its 65th anniversary celebration series. Founded in 1935 by Jeanne Ménal Goudoulin, the eponymous Maison was taken over in 2009 by Michel Miclo, owner of the Alsatian distillery of the same name. This is a particularly flowery version from an aromatic point of view, and very fruity on the palate: a dichotomy that gives a feeling of fullness.
The Armagnac Veuve Goudoulin 2000 Version Française has a delicate nose, in which the spicy and floral scents gradually become exotic and empyreumatic, with nuances of essential oils progressively covering the olfactory space. The palate is balanced and initially very different from the nose, with notes of vanilla, coffee and jam that gradually become more floral and fruity, with a perfectly integrated woody aftertaste. The finish is persistent, rich in ginger, dark chocolate, candied lemon, vanilla and salted caramel, with delicate, spicy nuances and an aftertaste of leather and incense.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
