Mortlach

Scotland - Speyside

Founded in 1823, Mortlach was built on the site of a former illegal distillery and was one of the rare distilleries authorized to produce alcoholic beverages during World War II, until 1944. Using a triple partial distillation and a traditional endless tube condensation system - also used by Talisker and Edradour - Mortlach produces a very delicate and surprisingly perfumed distillate.
