This gin takes its name from the master distiller Kirsty Black, who has carefully chosen local botanicals to represent the elements of ocean, rock and land of the Scottish east coast, which surround the Arbikie distillery: Kelp seaweed, carlina thistle and blueberries.
Gin is distilled from the alcohol of potatoes, which are grown directly in the 2100 acres of land owned by three different types, and are therefore also, like the botanicals, zero kilometer.
