Rutte Celery Gin gets a makeover and becomes Rutte Dutch Dry Gin.
A more modern bottle to enclose the recipe of a historic Gin, which does not change and maintains its fidelity to the main ingredient, celery.
This particular ingredient is found in a series of historical documents of the Dutch distillery dating back to the time of its opening (1732) where we read about its use together with other unusual botanicals in distillation experiments.
The floral aromas of coriander, cardamom and juniper emerge on the nose. When tasted, the botanicals parsley, mint, anise and, of course, celery come to the fore. Although the main ingredient in this gin is celery, the taste is not overwhelming.
Perfect for a fresh Gin & Tonic, accompanied by the Fever-Tree Aromatic Tonic Water.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
