Right after the Boutique Bar Show in 2006, an exhibit in London presenting all the new products for the Back Bar, Bitter Truth Company was founded. Because of their passion for old style cocktails and because of the difficulty of finding good bitters in their original country, German barmen Stephan Berg and Alexander Hauck created their own line of bitters and liquors.
The Bitter Truth Apricot Liqueur combines the juice of sun-ripened apricots from Klosterneuburg region (Germany) with an apricot schnapps that was distilled from the same fruit. The distinctive fruitiness and reduced sugar content of this apricot liqueur is captivating, and is indispensible in many classic and modern cocktail recipes.
Tasting Notes: sweet and fruity. The aroma of ripe apricots is dominant. In the background, a hint of almond from the apricot pit is noticeable
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
