Rum Nation Demerara Solera Number 14 is a skilful blend of molasses rums from British Guiana distilled in continuous columns for greater and smoother drinkability. After ageing mainly in ex-Bourbon casks, and 12 months in ex-Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso casks, a small amount of aged Enmore rum is also added to give greater complexity.
The nose offers sweet and spicy hints of cinnamon, black pepper, orange peel and honey, with nuances of wood, chocolate and liquorice. The palate is smooth, with the sweetness of cane sugar well balanced by the typical spicy notes of Guyanese rums, particularly pepper.
Rum Nation was founded in 1999 by Fabio Rossi with the specific aim of promoting the spirit and history of the places where the selected spirits originate. The main philosophy is to bring together a selection of the best rums from different countries in a single series, so that it is not necessarily the names of the distilleries that take centre stage, but rather the area of origin.

Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
