One of the first books documenting Antilles flora was published in 1808 and was written by François Richard de Tussac, senator of Guadeloupe.
When Luca Gargano came into possession of it, he decided to use the splendid illustrations contained therein for the labels of rums representative of Guadeloupe.
In this way, through Sylvain Guzzo, the Flora Antillarum range was created, dedicated to three essential references from Guadeloupe:
Bologne 7 Y.O 2014 (70cl 54.90°)
This Rhum Agricole is made from a blend of 3 cask distilled in the Créole column of the Bologne distillery:
N° 322, distilled in May 2013 and aged in a new oak barrel; N° 252, distilled in May 2014 and aged in an ex-Cognac barrel; N° 282, distilled in November 2014 and bottled full proof.
Karukera 12 Y.O. 2009 (70cl 60.40°)
This Rhum Agricole is made from a blend of 2 casks, N° 183 and N 188. It was distilled at Karukera in the Créole column, and left to age in ex-Cognac barrels on May 15, 2009.
Montebello 19 Y.O. 2002 (70cl 41.30°)
This rum is made from the blend of a Rhum Agricole and a traditional one. Aged in ex-bourbon and ex-Cognac 350 liter barrels on February 7, 2002, it was distilled in Montebello.
Coming from very old selections, these three rhum agricoles have been entirely aged in their distilleries and bottled at the natural grade.
ONE SET PER CLIENT MAXIMUM
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
