Karukera 2008 Fut 66: a special edition for Velier's 70th anniversary
The 2008 rhum agricole Karukera comes from Fut 66, which was selected by Luca Gargano to celebrate Velier's 70th anniversary. It is a very limited edition, bottled at cask strength and without cold filtration after maturing in French oak barrels at the distillery in Guadeloupe.
The nose is rich and elegant, with hints of fruit and spices. The palate is complex, with notes of candied fruit, citrus fruits, spices and tobacco.
