With this limited edition, Guadeloupe distillery Papa Rouyo aims to enhance the heritage of the local sugar cane.
Distilled in pot still from fresh juice, this agricultural rum stands for transparency in the selection of raw materials and the various stages of production. Vwayaj is made from sugarcane variety B 80.0689, which grows on the Atlantic.
This bottling is a tribute to the Route du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe, the legendary ocean race that connects Saint-Malo to Pointe-à-Pitre. To taste this rhum agricole is to immerse oneself in an imaginary world that combines the ocean, sailing and the discovery of elsewhere. Soft and unctuous thanks to a 6-month rest in vats, this white rum is mouthwatering, with an iodine finish. Licorice and bergamot emerge more in the retro-olfaction.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
