The Rum Trail Australia 2007 17 Y.O. comes from Australia’s oldest licensed rum distillery, located in Queensland. The spirit is produced through an initial column distillation followed by a pass through copper pot stills, combining precision and structure. After 10 years of ageing in American oak in Australia, the rum is transferred to Europe, where it spends a further seven years in second-fill ex-Bourbon casks.
Bottled at 48% vol. after a total of 17 years’ ageing, it displays an intense and complex character, with ripe banana, tropical fruit, raisins and currants, accompanied by deeper notes of aromatic herbs, eucalyptus and wood. Its rich, oily texture and long finish make this Australia 2007 one of the most structured expressions in The Rum Trail collection.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
