In October 2004, Luca Gargano (from Velier) went to Trinidad to prepare a photographic session on rum and Caribbean with the photographer Fredi Marcarini. Here, he comes to the discovery of hundreds of barrels of rum, some dating back to 1974 and so the modern history of Caroni was born, whose bottles are already highly sought after by enthusiasts and collectors.

In 2017, Luca decides to go back in order to reunite the employees of the already closed distillery. He found 16 of them and makes them photos by the same photographer of the first trip. 
The third release of Caroni Employees serie was born on April 12, 2019 when Luca Gargano and 26 Caroni Lovers, divided into 8 tasting gangs, spent the whole day among the remaining barrels of Caroni. This third release of the series dedicated to the employees of the Caroni distillery is composed of three blends aged in Trinidad:a blend of 4 casks from 1996, a blend of 7 casks from 1998 and a blend of 8 casks from 2000.

This particular bottling is dedicated to "Dicky" Ramsarran, distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2020.
