The Caroni Trinidad 1994 The Paradise No. 3 - cask #6132 - continues Caroni's The Paradise series, whose origins date back to the legendary Caroni Ceremony on 12 April 2019. During this event, 26 rum experts - including Luca Gargano - selected the 23 best from the 136 casks remaining from Caroni's last available stock. From this selection came Caroni The Last, Caroni Tasting Gang and Caroni Employees; and special casks were then selected to be bottled as Single Cask: The Paradise series.
The cask selected here is #6132, and comes from stock moved to Guyana in 2009 after maturing in Trinidad since 1994. After selection, it was decanted into 3 54-litre glass carboys in 2019 - each label indicates the number, #1 to #3.
In the second release of the Trinidad 1994 The Paradise No. 3 - cask #6132 - one can find here and there the petroleum notes for which Caroni is famous, yet prevailing is a palette of scents and aromas that with rare intensity shape a rum with an astonishing personality. The bottles are decorated with the works of artist Che Lovelace, and inspired by the colours of Trinidad and Tobago: this painting is entitled Port of Spain Kissers.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
