The Whiskymaker's Reserve No. 6: The Lakes presents its jewels
The Lakes presents The Whiskymaker's Reserve No. 6: the sixth release in a series exploring the 'sherried' style of what has become one of the most innovative distilleries on the British scene. This Single Malt is matured in selected Oloroso, PX and partly in casks that have contained red wine.
The result is a whisky with a rich and aromatic nose, with hints of spices, marzipan, rosewater, candied ginger and wood. The palate is smooth and delicately spiced, with notes of dates and cake. In the very complex finish, spices still prevail.
