Bushmills 32 Y.O. 1989 Port Cask Conquete 53,8° Irish Whiskey comes from cask number 6095, the oldest Bushmills selected by La Maison du Whisky for its 65th anniversary celebration series. Aged for a full 32 years in a cask that has contained Port, it possesses a freshness of expression and complexity that truly lives up to its long maturation. Limited edition.
Bushmills Single Malt 32 Y.O. 1989 Port Cask Conquete 53,8° has a delicate nose, in which hints of vanilla, lily, sage and exotic fruit evolve into strong, sweet spices and then gradually into candied lemon and mango. The palate is dynamic, rich in acidulous and liquorice notes, different from the nose, with violet and lavender nuances and a malty barley aftertaste. The finish is balanced and persistent, exotic, floral and spicy, with tones of chamomile and salted caramel.

Who was born first, Scotch whiskey or Irish whiskey? We will probably never know the answer, and in the end it is not even of fundamental importance.

Ireland and Scotland have always contended over the paternity of the invention of whisky, however, there are no official documents and we will not go into this centuries-old dispute, but will rely on...
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
