Tasting notes
• Colour: coppery with pink highlights.• Nose: gently evokes fine wood (rosewood) and spices (pepper).
• Palate: beautifully lively, evolving into citrus (orange) and ripe fruit (peach). Oily notes of fresh grapes emphasise the ageing in ex-Port barrels.
• Finish: marked by subtle notes of undergrowth (oak, mushrooms), it also reveals the sweet bitterness of malted barley.
