Bowmore 22 Y.O. 1998 Conquete Single Malt Bowmore 22 Y.O. was selected by independent bottler Berry Brothers from the Bowmore distillery's releases, and then chosen by La Maison du Whisky for its 65th anniversary celebration series. Distilled in 1998, it was aged for 22 years in Hogshead cask number 803730 and then bottled in a very limited edition. Extremely mineral, like all the best Bowmores it reveals a richly nuanced peat, ever present but never intrusive.
The Single Malt Bowmore 22 Y.O. 1998 Conquete B. Bros has a delicate and complex nose, in which hints of white fruits, candied lemon, apple, vanilla and musk are joined by peat and smoky tones reminiscent of seaweed and charcoal. The palate is balanced, akin to the nose, with peat creeping into every fruit, vanilla, salt, spice and iodine note. The finish is persistent, with still peaty, vegetal tones, more oily than saline, with brushstrokes of candied lemon, Williams pear, vanilla and coriander.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
