The Warehouse Collection is a new series of rare and limited whisky selections chosen from one of Fettercairn's 14 'dunnage' style warehouses. In these traditional warehouses with rammed earth floors and thick brick walls, the barrels are stored on a maximum of three rows in height to allow greater air circulation.
This whisky is a blend of different barrels matured 8 years in the warehouse n. 2 by Fettercairn.
The percentages of these barrels are 74% ex bourbon barrels, 20% ex bourbon refill barrels and 6% Hungarian wine barrels.
Aromatic Profile: Notes of Madagascar vanilla, pear and sweet pepper on the nose. On the palate toffee, honey and hazelnut. Final of melon, passion fruit, burnished citrus and sweet oak wood.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
