Every November for over 50 years, The Dalmore producers have visited the distillery's historic sandstone warehouses to explore the aging barrels. From this ritual, some barrels with an exceptional and identifying character were selected that gave life to the new Vintage Collection: unique and very limited editions released on the market for the first time in 2022.
This 2003 vintage begins aging in ex-bourbon American white oak barrels. The liquid is then transferred into hand-selected Rivesaltes sweet wine barrels, Sherry Matusalem and Amoroso and small bourbon barrels to then be combined for final harmonization.
Aromatic Profile: Manuka honey, toffee and vanilla on the nose. On the palate, maple syrup, spiced dark fruit. Finish of honey, orange marmalade and ginger.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
