Every November for over 50 years, The Dalmore producers have visited the distillery's historic sandstone warehouses to explore the aging barrels. From this ritual, some barrels with an exceptional and identifying character were selected that gave life to the new Vintage Collection: unique and very limited editions released on the market for the first time in 2022.
This 2007 vintage begins aging in ex-bourbon American white oak barrels. The liquid is then transferred to Sherry Matusalem, Apostoles, Amoroso and Marsala barrels to then be reunited for final harmonization.
Aromatic Profile: Honey, freshly baked brioche and ginger cake on the nose. On the palate orange blossom honey, spices and mandarins. Final with pastry sugars, ginger liqueur and cinnamon.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
