Himeros Aperitivo Ionico was created on the Ionian coast of Calabria with the aim of showcasing the region’s aromas, citrus fruits and culture through a contemporary aperitif. At the heart of the recipe is bergamot, one of the region’s most iconic ingredients, complemented by Tarocco oranges, bitter oranges and green mandarins, sourced from the coastal strip between Caulonia and Bova.
With its 11% vol., Himeros Aperitivo Ionico offers a fresh, citrusy and light profile, in which the bitter notes complement – rather than overpower – the natural aroma of the citrus fruits. A modern take on the Italian aperitif that brings the sunny, Mediterranean character of the Calabrian coast to the glass.
Its low alcohol content and citrusy character make it particularly versatile for mixing. It is ideal as a base for Spritzes and long drinks, paired with sparkling wine and soda, or for creating refreshing cocktails that bring out the distinctive notes of bergamot and Calabrian citrus fruits. It can also be served simply with ice and soda for a more straightforward aperitif.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
