Amara Amaro di Arancia di Sicilia was born from the intuition of the Liquorificio Rossa, on the slopes of Europe's highest active volcano, Mount Etna. Here, in Contrada San Martino, thanks to the nature of the soil and the strong technical excursion, PGI Sicilian Red Oranges have been cultivated for generations. After careful selection and peeling by hand, the orange peels are put into a multiple infusion, repeated 7 times, with alcohol and wild herbs, to which the purest water from Etna's spring is finally added. This artisanal production, in small batches and strictly without additives, creates a unique natural bitter rich in Mediterranean scents.
Amara Amaro di Arancia di Sicilia was born out of a great love for its island, and expresses an immediate sweetness at every sip that ends with a pleasantly savoury, delicately bitter but always aromatic sensation. An excellent liqueur as a digestif at the end of a meal, but also as a decisive ingredient for original and elaborate cocktails.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
