For the New Vibrations range, John Glaser has carefully composed, like a skilled musician, a blended grain and a blended malt called A-Side and B-Side respectively.
Composed of two blended grains (32.4 and 3.1 per cent) and a single grain (64.5 per cent), the A-Side release reveals an incredible uniformity of tone. The palette of flavours and aromas, tart, candied and creamy, is a model of balance and maturity. Revealing a smoky, medicinal peat, the B-Side release is a complex blend of an Islay single malt (12.2%), two Speyside single malts (20% and 7.8%), two blended malts (16.4% and 2.3%), a North Highland single malt
(11.3%) and a West Highland single malt (30%).
Two 70cl bottles plus one empty 20cl bottle, together with the tools to compose a blend of the two whiskies. Choose your composition and experiment with the proportions that suit your palate or that of your diners.
This gift set is composed of both releases of the New Vibrations range: A-Side and B-Side, and offers an extraordinary opportunity to try your hand at the art of blending, using the two bottles to recreate one of the three recipes devised by Compass Box Master Blender James Saxon, or to invent your own original version.
As a musician blending different samples of tunes and musical styles, we encourage you to find your ideal fusion of rhythms and melodies with this pair of whiskies. Wherever your curiosity and sense of adventure take you, find what is delicious and harmonious for you!

Peat whisky offers great emotions, unmistakable flavours and smells that enrapture us and that, when combined with the scents given by oak wood, create new horizons of taste. But what is peat and where...
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
