Lochlea 5 Y.O. Limited Edition: a new Scottish talent

Lochlea 5 Years Limited Edition is the first Single Malt with an age statement produced by the young Kilmarnock distillery to celebrate its first five years.

It is a blend of five carefully selected ex-bourbon and ex-Sherry casks, giving the distillate an unusual depth for its young age.

Hints of pineapple, brown sugar, hazelnuts and rye bread prevail on the nose. The palate is well-balanced, with notes of lemon, candied pear and orange peel, and a lingering, rich finish with nuances of caramel, black pepper, rose petals and leather.
