Waterford represents unprecedented innovation and experience in the Whiskey world. At the basis of the entire project is the raw material or barley cultivation which takes place in collaboration with 95 farmers located along the Irish east coast, 95 realities that represent as many expressions of Ireland.

Most of them cultivate in a conventional regime but there are also different experiences of organic and biodynamic agriculture.
To sign this project is Mark Reynier, former owner of Bruichladdich, who with Waterford aims to not only produce the best Irish Whiskey in the world but to create a Single Malt with unique characteristics.
The distillery is located in Waterford, on the east coast of Ireland, about two hours from Dublin. They work with the "Scottish" double distillation, with copper stills of Forsyths, undisputed protagonists of this large building, once part of the Guinness factories.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
