Renegade Cane Rum Single Farm Origin Nursery: terroir first

Renegade Cane Rum Single Farm Origin Nursery is the result of the pioneering project of propagating clean and healthy cane varieties undertaken by Renegade. Nestled in the La Calome valley, with its almost terraced valley floor, Renegade's nursery is composed of Hartman and Woburn clay soils, as well as a profusion of volcanic boulders. This rum is made from the sucrose-rich sugar cane variety called Yellow Lady, in the terroir parcel known as Upper La Calome. The Renegade distillery was specifically designed to enhance the individuality of the terroir, the purity of the long fermentation and a rigorous and careful distillation.
