Savanna Traditionnel VAST No. 1 is a high-quality molasses rum, produced at La Réunion. It is a blend combining two rums distilled in two different distillation columns, which is aged for 8 years in oak barrels in a tropical climate. The last two years are spent in the humid cellars of Savanna, which contribute to a complex flavour profile.
On the nose, this rum is characterised by hints of vanilla, ripe fruit, caramel and spices. The palate is full and round, with a perfect balance of sweet and spicy notes.
The finish is persistent, rich in nuances of toasted wood and vanilla.
