Amrut Master's Distillers Reserve Single Malt is the first expression in the annual release series of Single Cask selected by this celebrated Indian distillery. Produced from peat malt originating in Scotland, this whisky is double-distilled, aged in ex-bourbon casks and finally matured in an ex-Sherry PX cask. It is the first peat single malt ever aged in such a cask by Amrut. Very limited edition.
Amrut Master's Distillers Reserve Single Malt has a nose in which powerful hints of dried fruits, figs and plums mingle with caramel, chocolate and sweet tobacco, with fruity overtones and delicate phenolics. The palate is rich with notes of dried fruit, caramel and honey, which evolve and become creamier and syrupy, with touches of citrus, tobacco and powdered spices. The finish is sweet and dry.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
