Just 300 bottles produced for the 70th anniversary of Velier, this Indian Single Malt Whisky Port Pipe Peated of the Indian distillery Amrut, comes from a single barrel used for the aging of Port wine. Generous on the nose, with marked fruity notes (orange, apricot, strawberry), cigar box, burned oak and a touch of chocolate. In the mouth, however, apricot, peach, cut grass, dry smoke and cinnamon are among the first to come out; after which there are spices, resin and tobacco, due to the slow degradation of peat.
