Made with eight different kinds of barrels (between them, a bourbon, a Oloroso  Sherry wine and four wine barrels from California, Portugal, Spain and Australia), it is impressive for its fresh and delicious orchid, exotic fruit and vanilla aromas.

The shape of the bottle reminds of the Taipei Tower, once the tallest in the world.

Named Best Non-Scots Whisky by the Whisky Magazine in 2010, the Kavalan distillery has achieved one of the highest awards in the category, beating three products from some of Scotland's most historic distilleries during the annual blind tasting session of Burns Night of Leith.
