Yamazaki 12 Y.O.: from Japan's most popular whisky brand
The 12-year-old Yamazaki Single Malt comes from the oldest whisky distillery in Japan, founded in 1923 and the first to use copper stills outside Scotland.
The nose has hints of peaches, persimmon, butter, caramel, coconut and vanilla. The palate is sweet and rich in fruity notes, with red and blackcurrants, raspberries and blueberries. The finish is persistent and fruity, with woody and vanilla tones.
