The Ladyburn distillery was built in 1966, in the Scottish Lowlands, as part of the expansion works of Girvan, the distillery for the production of Grain Whisky of the Grant's Group. Ladyburn, however, had a short life and was already demolished in 1976.

Its Single Malts are therefore very rare today and are highly sought after by collectors. Velier, the historic Italian importer of the grant's Group, however, managed to select a single barrel containing whisky distilled in 1973 and bottled in 2018, after 45 years of aging.

A true monument to the Scottish art of aging barley whisky for decades and of which there are just 93 bottles.
