Yuzu sake is sake infused with yuzu fruit, a small traditional Japanese citrus fruit similar to bergamot.
Produced near Wakayama Prefecture in a sake brewery (a former Buddhist temple), Heiwa Yuzu sake is made using half fresh yuzu juice organically grown in Wakayama and the remainder a two-year-old sake with a higher percentage of amino acids than normal.
The result is something unique, incredibly refreshing, produced in very small batches, with procedures made strictly by hand, from harvesting to pressing the fruit.
To be served strictly cold.
