The Benriach distillery, founded in 1898 by John Duff, takes its name from the Gaelic, in fact it means "the hill of the red deer" thanks to its proximity to the Teindland forest where deer are very common. Benriach can count on the supply of water from the Bourmade source, which has grown over time and has now become a point of reference thanks to its centenary malting flor. Aging plays a central role for the company, with a skilful use of different barrels that characterize each product making it unique.
This single malt has hints of baked pears, apricot and clementine jam, with soft sweet spices and dark sugar. In the mouth caramelized apricot, spicy orange and hazelnut, layered with vanilla icing and ground nutmeg. Vinous and persuasive finish

Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
