The Benriach distillery, a gem among distilleries in the heart of Speyside, acquires a new design and a new range signed entirely by master blender Rachel Barrie.
This new design is strongly inspired by the original packaging used for the first Single Malt released from the distillery in 1994.

The Twelve continues, as per tradition, to be Benriach's expression matured mainly in ex-Sherry casks, although in this new evolution it is enriched with an additional interesting maturation cask, namely that of Port. This choice intensified the notes of baked fruit, honey, maple and cocoa. The Twelve consists exclusively of non-peated single malts aged for at least twelve years in ex-Sherry, ex-Bourbon and Port casks.

Aromatic profile: a perfectly balanced whisky with an interesting sultana note and a spicy mocha finish. On the nose, aromas of maple syrup, cocoa, berries, while on the palate maraschino cherries, candied orange, hazelnut, coffee, spices are the predominant notes.
