With its sixth limited edition of the "A Tale of..." series, Glenmorangie takes us straight to the heart of the world's most fascinating bazaars.
A Tale of Spices is the result of an experiment never before attempted by the distillery: ageing in four types of casks: Moroccan red wine, charred virgin oak, Pedro Ximénez sherry and scraped and toasted red wine casks.
The result is a surprising single malt, capable of combining sweetness and spicy liveliness in a mosaic of aromas that captivates from the first sip.
This Glenmorangie Single Malt Scotch Whisky opens with a complex and elegant bouquet: floral notes of rose, jasmine, lilac and carnation intertwine with exotic spices such as cumin, saffron, nutmeg, ginger, chilli and aniseed, with a warm base of oak and chestnut.
On the palate, the whisky reveals its full strength: a spicy explosion of ginger, black pepper and mustard seeds, softened by hints of mint toffee, Demerara sugar and praline almonds. The long, intense and unforgettable finish reveals elegant balsamic notes of eucalyptus, cloves, leather and peppermint.

Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
