Glenmorangie Grand Vintage Malt 1998 is characterized by aging in American oak barrels charred more than usual, resulting in a limited edition single malt that once again demonstrates the great creativity that distinguishes this Scottish Highland distillery: the richness and variety of its Whiskies.
After 23 years of maturation, it releases aromas of ripe fruit, further sweetened by notes of caramel. Letting it breathe also adds notes of vanilla and mint. On the palate, an initial spicy note is immediately followed by chocolate, citrus and figs. The finish leaves hints of anise and ginger in the mouth.
