Project XX: the project from Glenfiddich

Glenfiddich Project XX is a Single Malt born from an experiment in which twenty of the most influential and pragmatic people in the world of whisky were welcomed into the distillery's immense warehouses. Here, they were given complete freedom to choose their favourite cask. Their selection included several American oak barrels, ex-bourbon barrels and port pipes, which were blended and bottled without age statement in the iconic triangular bottle.

For many years now, Glenfiddich has been exploring new frontiers in the world of whisky. Each new expression draws inspiration from the pioneering spirit of Charles Gordon and his ancestors. It was David Stewart who first experimented with new forms of finish many years ago. In recent years, Brian Kinsman, Glenfiddich's current malt master, has continued this tradition of experimentation.
